Chapter Philanthropy

Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Kansas is continuing our new philanthropy of Mental Health and Well-Being, and is supporting this cause by partnering with Mental Health America, as well as Bert Nash. MHA is the nation’s leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing the needs of those living with mental illness and promoting the overall mental health of everyone.

Bert Nash is a local Community Mental Health Center in Lawrence that works to advance the mental health of the Douglas County community through comprehensive behavioral health services responsive to evolving needs and changing environments.

We are continuing our partnership with Talkspace, an online platform with access to mental health resources that is free to collegiate members and provides a discount to alumni members.

In addition to partnering with these organizations, Kappa is continuing our fan favorite Philanthropy event, Nacho Night, and we are super excited to announce that we will be starting a new Philanthropy Event in the Spring. With this new Spring Event, we are hoping to raise more awareness for Mental Health, help bring together the SFL Community, and create new traditions within our Chapter.
